Gent-Water Canyon

s_300_328_16777215_0___images_properties_Gent_gent-water-map.pngNMP holds 4 senior "Gent" claims within northern third of Newmont Mining’s Water Canyon project (~2,500 acres), located about three miles north of Newmont’s Mule Canyon gold mine (~0.5 M oz production with additional resources of 0.7 million ounces). During the fall of 2007, on Newmont’s land, a reverse circulation drill hole, WC-07-03, intersected 0.027 opt Au over 65’ from 240’ downhole depth, open ~1,000’ north to ~3,000’ north toward the Gent claims.

DH-07-03 tested an IP anomaly representing structural zones projected north from the MuleCanyon mine. No follow-up work or drilling has been done. Several IP anomalies remain to be tested.
