Hill Property

Hill-Map.jpgThe Hill property, consisting of thirty nine (39) unpatented lode mining claims, is located approximately 25 airline miles northwest of Winnemucca, Nevada in the central portion of the Slumbering Hills, Humboldt County, Nevada.

The Hill property makes up a portion of the Awakening Mining District approximately five miles south of the bonanza gold ores extracted from the Sleeper Mine (5 million ounces gold produced from 1986-1993, Amax Exploration).

The Hill property, consisting of 22 unpatented lode claims, is located approximately 40 air kilometers northwest of Winnemucca, Nevada within the central portion of the north trending Slumbering Hills range. The property is situated eight kilometers south of the Sleeper mine (~5 million ounces gold past production and current reported resource) currently being explored by Paramount Gold Nevada and approximately 21 kilometers north of Newmont Mining’s Sandman project (~300,000 ounces of gold).

The Hill claims contain gold and silver mineralization within quartz veins, quartz stockworks and disseminated in calcareous quartzite. The veins are banded in places while the quartzite is hematite stained. Three drill-ready targets are outlined on the attached map including step-offs from anomalous to ore grade gold intercepts in four shallow drill holes. The quartzite host rock is interbedded with phyllitic shale and calcareous phyllite assigned to the Triassic Auld Lang Syne Group. A late Cretaceous granodiorite stock crops out about 1 kilometer south of the claims.

Over 780 soil samples and 190 rock samples collected by various companies contain anomalous to ore grade gold and silver intermittently over a strike length of 2000 meters. Anomalous samples are coincident with the following targets; 1) massive quartz vein; 2) areas of quartz-stockworked quartzite located south of the quartz vein; and 3) Spanish Girl workings. These partially to untested areas have been outlined with geologic mapping and geochemical sampling. Untested targets include soil samples grading from 0.16 to 6.74 g/t Au and rock samples from 0.10 to 13.2 g/t gold and 1 to 36 g/t silver. Drill cuttings from an undated rotary hole in the Spanish Girl target assayed 1.35 g/t Au and 4.1 g/t Ag.

The massive quartz vein has variable widths of 3 to 40 meters (Quartz Target). This vein contains gold grades to 3.06 g/t at surface and 4.34 g/t over 1.5 meters in drilling. The Stockworks to the south of the vein are defined by soil samples over 600 meters in length and 100 meters in width. Spanish Girl workings prospect a vein and stockwork zone from 1 to 5 meters wide. Samples from 1 to 13 g/t gold have been obtained from outcrops.

In 1990, limited drilling consisting of six shallow air track (deepest 10.6m) was followed in 1991 with four RC holes (deepest 91m). These holes only partially tested mineralized quartzite and quartz veining at the Massive Quartz Target. Widespread anomalous gold (+0.1 g/t) and elevated silver was intersected in the four RC holes, within quartzite. The westernmost holes intersected 1.1 g/t Au/14m from surface and 0.5 g/t Au/14m at 30m depth in hole 91-2 and 0.45 g/t Au/10m in hole 91-1. Angle RC holes 91-3 and 91-4 were terminated prematurely due to bad recovery. Hole 91-4 contained 0.45 g/t Au/5m at surface and 2.0 g/t Au/1.5m at 33m depth. Anomalous gold was encountered throughout 91-3 with 10m of no recovery.

The Hill property is located within a significant mineral-rich belt with drill-ready targets. This property offers an opportunity for a major discovery of respectable gold grades with silver credits. The property is available under reasonable terms. Nevada Mine Properties II, Inc (NMP II) is 100% owner and all data are available for review at NMP II’s office.

The Hill property offers the opportunity for major tonnages of respectable gold grades with possible significant silver in discrete massive quartz veins and over broad areas of stockwork-veined quartzites.

Proposed drill targets are supported by numerous soil and rock chip geochemical anomalies ranging to over 6 grams/ton Au and by previous limited, shallow reverse circulation drilling returning ore grade gold intercepts.

A Phase 1 drill program consisting of 11 reverse circulation holes for 6,100’ at “Hill 1726.2.”

Broad spread of surface gold suggests an underlying higher grade feeder structure(s); some similarities in the style of mineralization to the neighboring Sleeper mine (5 M oz gold production) liken hypothetical feeder to a bonanza vein.
